quick one before bed
Posted on October 27th, 2007 @ 1:14 am

I wanted to go to bed early tonight…so much for that! It’s almost 1am already! And I am not tired. Must have been my nap earlier. I didn’t work today, and my allergies were bothering me, so after I dropped the kids off at school and having to go BACK to Kaylee’s school because on the way to the middle school I noticed that she left her backpack in my car and I knew she’d be upset over it, so I took it to her, I cleaned up the house some, and then took some allergy meds and laid down! Slept for a good 2 hours! It was nice. Even though I would love having the extra hours at work, I do enjoy my Thursdays and Fridays off. Although lately, it seems like I have been subbing a lot, which is nice also.

The weather has changed for the better, the smoke from the fires is just about all gone, you can still see it in the distance a bit, but other than that it’s clear skies, sunny and warm. Very enjoyable to be outside, if it wasn’t for my allergies! :sigh1:

Kaylee’s school had a Harvest Festival today, and so we went to that. Josh joined us for a little while after I told him that they had a “throw pie in the principal’s” face booth! Even though she isn’t his principal anymore, he still wanted to do it! This one kid was so horrible…I think he was 3rd in line, so there was absolutely no excuse since the teacher managing the line explained the rules to the kids. There was a line drawn in the grass where the kids had to stand and throw the pie from (the “pie” was actually a paper plate with whipped cream). Well, this kid walked right up to the booth, and shoved the plate in the principal’s face! It was awful and very very rude! He was told to leave after that! I am not a big fan of that principal but I felt incredibly bad. I could tell she was nervous when she sat down, and he was only the 3rd kid to do it, so no doubt she was still unsure about the whole thing, and then that…you gotta figure that this whipped cream goes in your nose and everything if shoved in your face like that! Some kids just have no manners in the least! And what’s worst, this kid is a 4th grader, and he was there by himself, no parents with him. Then he stood there laughing while everyone else just shook their head! Kaylee had a ton of fun there, and I managed to only spend $10, which is a small miracle in itself. All the games were only one token, which is a quarter, and the food were food were 3 or 4. Josh and Kaylee had a snocone each and Kaylee had a hot dog before we left. I was proud of myself for not spending so much, and Alan just about passed out when I told him I only spent $10! :haha: I uploaded some pics over there –>

No huge plans for this weekend, my allergies are still bugging me so I think we’ll just stay close to home. Josh is spending the night at a friends house, not sure what time he’ll be home in the morning. I need to catch up on some more housework and get my laundry done!

By the way, in exactly 6 months, I will be on board the Disney Magic!! :yay:

I am doing a Friday meme even though it’s technically already Saturday, but the meme I have for Saturday has to do with ghosts and I’d rather not think about that before bed! :look:
